If you live in the South, you’ve probably gotten caught in the offroading scene at some point. It embodies the battle between man’s ingenuity vs nature perfectly. However, it takes a lot of skill and a big investment. If you’d like to read some 4×4 offroading tips, we’ve listed some here.
If you want to go offroading, you should do so respectfully. Learn about the rules here at TREAD lightly. Don’t go on private property; with a little research, you can find a great spot.
Take It Slow:
Especially when you first start out, you need to take it slow or else you’ll find yourself stuck. Remember, change your wheel position in tiny increments and don’t just constantly peel out. The more you learn the ins and outs, the crazier you can get.
Know Your Vehicle:
If you don’t know the limits of your vehicle, you will likely end up causing a lot of damage to it. Even the top of the line trucks can get overwhelmed in certain terrain. Get a lot of practice in before you push the limits.
Hopefully these will help with your offroading venture. If you need work done on your truck, A&A Transmission can help. To find out more about our services, please give us a call at (405) 350-6600.
